Reactives Management provides Department of Transportation (DOT), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) compliance training programs as well as other safety and health-related classes, such as CPR/AED/First Aid. These programs have been designed to efficiently and economically deliver realistic, student-driven, quality training since 1988.
American Red Cross
Reactives Management is a Licensed Training Provider of American Red Cross adult CPR, AED, and First Aid classes. Our classes are designed to meet the needs of workplaces, the general public, schools, and other organizations. Classes are held at our facility in Chesapeake on a monthly basis. Safety and Compliance Programs
Basic compliance training programs include DOT Hazmat Employee training (including mode-specific classes such as IATA and IMDG), EPA generator and disposal facility personnel programs, and a complete series of OSHA courses, including Confined Space Entry, Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Communication, and others.
RMC also provides specialized courses such as reactives and explosives safety, compressed gas cylinder safety, annual storm water pollution prevention training, and chemical-specific training programs. RMC has conducted UXO recognition, recovery, and disposal training programs for state environmental agencies. RMC has taught customized confined space entry programs to Air Force EOD technicians, fire fighters, and fuel cell maintenance personnel.

All classes can be held just about anywhere in the world. RMC has provided training in Hawaii, the Dominican Republic, and Bahrain as well as in approximately 18 states. What time do classes start?
All classes held in our Chesapeake, Virginia office EXCEPT for CPR/AED/First Aid begin at 8:00 a.m. Please arrive about 10 minutes early to sign in. CPR/AED/First Aid classes begin at 9:00 a.m.

Do I need to bring anything to class?
No. We provide all necessary supplies, including a pen.
What shall I wear to class?
Wear comfortable clothing. It is hard to please everyone with the heat and air conditioning, so dress in layers if you tend to get hot or cold easily. Do not wear sandals or other open-toed footwear. Women are not to wear inappropriate clothing such as short shorts, tops, or skirts to HAZWOPER programs.
Where can I find prices for training?
Basic prices for the most common classes are listed on the current training schedule. We provide quotes for all other classes, including those held at the customer’s location or those for which dates are not listed on the current training schedule.
Can you customize a course for my company?
Yes, RMC can provide training on most OSHA, DOT/hazmat, EPA/hazardous waste topics as well as numerous general health and safety topics. To provide you with a quote, we need to know what the subjects will be, where the class is to be held, and how many students are anticipated. The course length also affects the price. Can you provide an on-site evaluation?
Yes. RMC will come to your site to evaluate your particular situation. Once the evaluation is performed, we will provide you with management options and cost estimates for each.
Is there a charge for on-site evaluations?
Yes. RMC charges for travel expenses, labor time while traveling, labor time while on site, and for any necessary tools or equipment. A price for the evaluation will be provided to you so you can decide if you wish to proceed.
Can you provide an estimate without seeing our site in person?
Yes, RMC can provide an estimate based on the information you provide. The more detailed the information, the more accurate the estimate will be. The price is subject to changed based on actual site conditions.
